It is a book I read in one sitting while travelling. It is a riveting thriller, mystery set in the Indus valley era.
The protagonist Avani and her friends are not only smart and mischievous but also daring and brave as they get into adventures and misadventures.
Then they stumble upon a grave situation and decide to step in to solve the mystery and prevent a potential catastrophe. The rest of the story revolves around how they go about it. Do they manage to avert the catastrophe and save the day? Read to find out.
With an engaging, fast-paced and gripping narrative and a set of interesting and strong characters, it makes for a memorable reading experience. The imaginative portrayal of the Harappan way of life and culture is interesting and thought-provoking.
My kids enjoyed the book as much as I did.
Appropriate for middle-grade readers and young-at-heart readers too.
