An atmospheric slow-burn mystery that revolves around seven close friends who are dedicated students of a prestigious Shakespearean Academy. One of the students Oliver Marks is convicted and imprisoned for ten years and on the day of his release is greeted by the investigating Detective Colborne who is about to retire from service. The detective who is still unsettled about the murder, seeks a clarification from Oliver about the events from ten years ago that led to the tragic consequences. Thus unfurls in flashback, the story from Oliver’s memories, revealing a dark, intense and haunting suspense-filled literary ride that lays bare the undercurrents of jealousy, passion and obsession that fuelled the actions and behaviour of the characters.
