Some of you suggested that I publish my nature-inspired musings in a book.
Maybe even a coffee table book, someone said.
The idea held appeal.
So, I explored different publishing options to best render the content for a pleasant and memorable reading experience.
Coffee table hardbound format with color interior needs more thought, planning and resources and the cost of the book will not be suitable for a wider reach. I put this format on hold for a more appropriate time.
Then, rather than give in to procrastination I went ahead with working on the paperback and Kindle formats.
Crafted the cover page in a manner that I believed would complement and represent the poems and reflect the theme.
In parallel gathered over thirty poems to go into the book, along with images for most.
Added in a little something on a whim! A few nudges here and there to draw in the reader and transform what could be a passive reading experience into an interactive one.
Sized the paperback in a manner I hoped would be just right, so it can comfortably fit in a jacket pocket or a handbag.
Finally, set the rest of the steps in motion to bring the plan to fruition.
And voila!

Before you proceed further, let me admit, this book might not be suitable for all readers.
Given the theme, style and flow I realize it would appeal to a niche audience who are not only nature enthusiasts but also seek respite in the kind of nature poetry that is contained in the book.
But then, I have been proven wrong time and again about my assumptions.
So, do feel free to explore a sample to find out if this book is for you or maybe for a near or dear one.
