Weaver at work

A kidney garden spider builds its intricately architected sanctuary on a betel leaf.
Soothing to observe the spider spin its web steadily and calmly, its limbs constantly in motion except during the short breaks in between.

Weaver at work

Back and forth
To and fro
Side to side
Upside down
Stop for rest
Then start again
Weave your home
Release a thread
Stretch and spin
Spirals and springs
Straight and slant
Crawl and slide
Pause and go
Shrink and pull
Criss-cross lines
Languid moments
Dangle beneath
Gossamer strands
Silky mesh
Repeat the drill
Measured movements
Catch a sigh
And back to work
Craft and construct
Your cozy lair
